To get technical:

The sprayer is comfortable, super durable, and sprays with a very consistent pattern for minimal overspray. It’s also the only recyclable trigger sprayer available and the only one which is able to withstand both essential oils and acid cleaners such as our bathroom formula.

Our concentrate bottles are power-packed and help you to minimize single-use plastic in your home. This kit takes the place of about 75 single-use bottles of cleaner.

We use close-woven microfiber waffle cloths for glass and high-quality cotton terry for everything else. Microfiber terry cloths release millions of particles with each wash, ending up in our water and food. Not good. Our waffle cloths are tightly woven and feature long, continuous filaments which drastically reduce the release of microplastics. They’re also absolutely the best cloth available for glass cleaning and comparable to cloths at 4x the price.

Our mop system is like nothing you’ve seen at the local department store. It’s designed for superior performance and hard-wearing durability. This mop system will change the way you clean your floors.

Melamine sponges are a secret weapon for stains of all kinds including pen, marker, paint, rust, lime, makeup (on surfaces, not your face!), even silverware marks on dishes. If you’ve never used one, you’re in for a surprise. Non-abrasive scrubbing sponges get into all the corners and deal with tough messes.

Our bag is made to fit everything you need while remaining compact and lightweight. All your supplies should fit cleanly and easily under a sink, and be ready for use in a snap. No more cabinets full of old bottles, dirty rags, and all the other junk.

Use and Instructions:

Mello soap co. cleaners are designed for safety and efficacy in a wide range of applications.  As former professional cleaners ourselves we value formulas which work hard while being safe, gentle, and mildly scented.  Years of experience have taught us to avoid aggressive chemicals, powerful fragrances, and ready-to-use bottles.  Safe, sustainable, and affordable.  That’s where we want to be. 

Here are some recommendations:

Always test before use on any sensitive surface.  These cleaners contain essential oils and as such could stain certain fabric or very porous stone.  The sink/tub/tile formula is acidic and consequently not recommended for use on unsealed marble.  Any spills of the concentrate should be cleaned up promptly.  

Safety should always be a top priority when working with any chemical, natural or not. Cleaning concentrates are not meant for ingestion and along with and all cleaning supplies should be stored safely away from children at all times.  We suggest using the child-resistant cap for customers with young children.

A few finer points on safety:

• Prolonged contact with skin is to be avoided due to the drying effect of the soap. 

• Eye contact will result in irritation and discomfort, not unlike bar soap or shampoo.

• Avoid excessive inhalation by spraying an area and walking away for a moment. 

• Those with asthma or severe allergies should likely avoid scented formulas. 

• Avoid mixing these formulas with any other household chemicals.

• As always, if any irritation occurs discontinue use immediately.  

All that said, these formulas employ ingredients that are commonly used in a wide range of personal care products.  These are milder cleaners than most, and should generally not cause issues.
